Admissions
The Daybreak Admissions Committee includes staff of the Children’s Program and Parenting Program. Referrals for admission to Daybreak may come from:
- Self-referral
- Family and friends
- Department of Children, Senior and Social Development
- Public Health Nurses
- Doctors/Specialist
- Janeway Child Development Learning and Rehabilitation
- Professionals including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech & Language
- Early Childhood Educators
- Direct Home Services
The Committee meets monthly to review all new referrals. Contact with the family is ongoing as the Committee works with them to determine if Daybreak is the best opportunity for the child and the family.
